The supplier directory only ever lists verified companies, and the shop only shows products from verified suppliers. There is no unverified half of the marketplace to avoid.

Verified Supplier
No supplier sells on Commercin until we have checked who they are.
Before a company can list a single product, it has to send us its business licence, its company registration and its tax documents. A member of our team opens each one, checks it and records the decision — who reviewed it, when, and why. Until that is done, nothing the company uploads is visible to buyers.
A person made the decision
Each document is reviewed by a named member of our team, who records what they saw and when. Approvals are not automatic and not granted by a score.
A record you can read
A supplier profile shows the country they trade from, how long they have been on Commercin, their product range and the ratings left by buyers who actually ordered from them.
What we check
The documents a supplier has to provide
All three have to be approved before the company can list anything.
Business licence
Proof that the company is licensed to trade in the goods it wants to sell, issued by the authority in its own country.
Company registration
The registration certificate naming the legal entity and its registered address, which is checked against the company name shown on the storefront.
Tax certificate
Evidence that the company is registered for tax where it operates — the document that tells us the business is real and declared, not a name on a website.
Scope
What verification does and does not mean
We are straight with buyers about the limits of this, because knowing where the checks stop is what lets you judge the rest yourself.
- It means a real, registered company stands behind the storefront, and that we have seen the paperwork that says so.
- It means an unverified or rejected company cannot show products to buyers, and that a supplier can be suspended if the picture changes.
- It does not mean we have visited the factory. We check documents, not production lines, and we do not carry out site inspections or audits.
- It does not vouch for the goods. For a large or critical order, ask for a sample, agree your specification in writing and consider your own inspection before shipment.
The review
How a supplier gets verified
Two steps, both of which leave a record.
Documents submitted and reviewed
The company uploads each document from its dashboard. A member of our team opens it, approves or rejects it, and writes a note explaining the decision. The reviewer and the date are stored against the document.
Approval unlocks the storefront
Only then does the company appear in the supplier directory and only then do its products become visible in the shop. A rejection comes with the reason, and the company can correct it and submit again.

The supplier directory lists verified companies only — there is no filter to apply.
The verified badge appears on the supplier’s storefront and next to their name on a product page.
Every product in the shop comes from a verified supplier; an unverified company’s listings are hidden.

Verification on Commercin is a check of the documents a supplier provides, carried out by our own team. We do not inspect premises, test products or audit production, and we cannot guarantee a supplier’s capacity, lead times or the quality of the goods they ship. Documents reflect the position on the day they were reviewed. Buyers remain responsible for their own due diligence, and anything agreed with a supplier is governed by our terms and conditions.
